Waterfront Park - A triangle of spruce trees marks the garden at this lakefront park on Jefferson Avenue. A patch of lilies forms Fiona's Garden along the North fence. These colorful lilies were rescued from the now razed Fiona's Teahouse in Detroit. A planting of plants native to Michigan was added in 2006 as a demonstration of low maintenance gardening. Planting in 2007 will begin to tie the garden together. A proposed path within the garden will provide visitors with a relaxing walks among some familiar and some not so familiar plants.
