Currently, the township is seeking bids for the following items:

EMERGENCY STANDBY GENERATORS
INTRODUCTION
The Charter Township of Harrison requests responses from qualified vendors to design and install emergency standby generators capable of supplying auxiliary power to allow for operations of the Township Offices, Rosso Hall, Water and Sewer Shop and Tucker Senior Center.
BACKGROUND
The Charter Township of Harrison Office complex consists of two (2) office buildings, one (1) meeting hall, one (1) offsite maintenance shop, and one (1) offsite Senior Citizens Center building as outlined below.
1. The Engineering Building (38144 Townhall).
2. The Administration Building (38151 L’Anse Creuse).
3. Rosso Hall (38225 L’Anse Creuse).
4. Water and Sewer Shop (41415 Production).
5. Tucker Senior Center (26980 Ballard).
SCOPE OF SERVICES
The vendor will furnish and install a comprehensive fully functional auxiliary power generator system capable of allowing the Township buildings to operate with normal power demands during interruptions of the electrical power supply. The generator will automatically engage and disengage during interruptions and restoration of normal electrical service. Each building shall be equipped with a separate generator.
Proposals will include a unit price for each individual building.
MIMINUM REQUIREMENTS OF THE SYSTEM
All equipment shall be new, unused and proven by previous use of similar products to be fully suitable for the service intended. All wiring to be copper.
The generators supplied shall be powered by natural gas during periods of operation.
The generators shall be installed in such a manner as to meet any screening requirements that may be required by Harrison Township.
The generators shall be installed so as to minimize the potential for theft or damage to the unit. This may require fencing or other means to secure and protect each generator.
The proposal, but not limited to, shall include all engineering, installation and/or supervision of such, startup, any required permits, testing and training, in addition to any other project services the supplier deems necessary to the successful implementation of the auxiliary generator system proposed.
All equipment proposed shall be non-proprietary.
Vendor will be responsible for securing any and all necessary permits that may be required.
The system shall be capable of being fully functional not later than sixty (60) days after a notice to proceed is issued.
Each generator unit supplied shall operate at a minimal noise level.
Each building should be considered as a separate and individual project.
THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF HARRISON RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL SPECIFICATIONS OR PROPOSALS FOR WHATEVER REASON.
