Absentee Voting

Who Can Vote Absentee

Anyone may vote by absentee by submitting an application, available here, with your full name, address. The introduction of no reason absentee voting means all voters are now eligible to be placed on the permanent absentee voter list so that they will automatically receive applications for a ballot. You can request to be placed on the permanent absent voter list by calling 586-466-1404, or by filling out this form here and returning it to the Clerk's Office.

You must sign and date the application for us to provide you with a ballot. Applications are accepted at the Clerk's office. You may bring your form in person, drop it in the convenient drop box located by either of the double doors in the Administration Building where water payments are accepted, or mail it to us at the address below:

Adam Wit, Clerk
Charter Township of Harrison
38151 L'Anse Creuse
 Harrison Township, MI, 48045

A written request, including all of the above information, which is signed and dated, will be accepted by mail, at the above address, or fax (586) 466-1424, in lieu of an application.  An absentee ballot will be mailed to you upon receipt of your request.

Absentee Ballot pre-processing will take place on Saturday, February 24th, 2024 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Township Hall Administration Building conference room located at 38151 L’Anse Creuse. There will be approximately 10 Election Inspectors for pre-processing.
